Use safety gates on stairs

Install safety gates at the tops and bottoms of stairs and secure windows with childproof window guards to prevent dangerous falls.

Put corner guards on furniture. Store breakables up high. Insert plastic childproof safety plugs into all unused electrical outlets to prevent electrocution.

Give healthy foods

Offer variety of fruits, veggies, whole grains. Provide nutritious meals and snacks with plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins and whole grains. Limit sugary treats and juices.

Establish good sleep routine

Aim for 12+ hours daily including naps. Put to bed drowsy but awake.Start a consistent bedtime routine including bathtime, brushing teeth, reading stories, lullabies and hugs/kisses goodnight.
